There's a CD single out this week ! I think you'll like it. A lot. "Tinsel & Marzipan" has been put together by some friends of mine (Pugwash) and they've got some guests including Mundy, Eric Matthews, Neil Hannon from the Divine Comedy... the chap who wrote the theme to Father Ted, and of course the one and only Dave Gregory. [Somewhere on there you'll hear my keyboard noodlings and you'll hear my kids singing backing vocals but that's not important right now] This is the Christmas-song that won't have you reaching for the "off" button I promise. We reckon we can get this CD into the charts if enough friends buy it this weekend (December 8th. 9th, 10th, 11th) It doesn't take many sales to get into the Top Ten in the Irish charts. If we get into the Top Ten next week the momentum (and a little luck) could carry the single to Number One. Wouldn't that be cool ? Wouldn't it be great to beat all that reality-TV rubbish to Number One this Christmas ? One in the eye for the boy bands.
