   Andy: “One afternoon in October '83, high on tea and biscuits, myself and Dave Gregory got experimenting. We plugged our Linndrum into his guitar synthesizer, a Korg X911, to see what would come out the other end. To our tannin induced surprise, the synth, in its attempt to make sense of atonal percussion noises, came up with a groovy riff. What more encouragement could two Hob Nob heads need. Dave jammed his fizzy noodles over the top, while I bashed random buttons on the Linn to create squeals and squonks of electric indecision. In space no one can hear you dunk your digestive.”
