Shorty's album, *For True*, is Amazon's (U.S.) download special of the day, priced at US$3.99. Coincidence? You be the ju ... well, actually, yes. I'm not stroking the starmaker machinery, and I'm not simply unlucky -- the CD was a Christmas gift for someone who still prefers to slide discs into players, so I couldn't simply have waited even if I'd known. Does anyone out there in this thing called "the great unknown" happen to possibly possess knowledge of the e-mail address(es) of June and Pete Dix in Canada? If you're a bonafide XTC-ite such as myself, then these two names should DEFINITELY ring a bell with you ... Yup, they were the ones who published the now-defunct (yet historical!!) XTC newsletter, The Little Express. I just recently came across back copies that I'd kept all these years and must admit that while looking through them, the warm memories just flooded over me like bath-water. I actually sat there with a smile on my face as I was turning the pages! It ... was ... wonderful!!! So wonderful, in fact, that I would LOVE to contact June and Pete to simply let them know that they are indeed NOT forgotten by this particular XTC fan. Hence my question of their e-mail address.
