Interested to see that Andy's Top Ten from 2005 has made it onto the
Chalkhills site! Just for the record, this was from an interview I
conducted with Andy in 2005 for the BBC Radio Wales show The Saturday
Social- it had nothing to do with 'The Word' but I just posted the list
and some pertient quotes on the Word blog recently in response to an XTC
thread.

Cheers,

Euron Griffith.

Hi:

Over at the XTCfans MySpace site (http://www.myspace.com/xtcfans),
Andy answers questions about his APE House label, the artists on it,
and its future. The song of the week is "Dame Fortune," released on
Fuzzy Warbles, Vol. 1.

If you want to know why having a hit can sometimes be a bad thing for
a small label, or which labels Andy is envious of and why, check out
the XTCfans blog site at:

Dame Fortune smile, ring my bell, lift your skirt
Pour down some fortune on me...

Hey all,

Does anyone on this list have a copy of the vinyl LP version of 'Apple Venus
Vol 1' or Martin Newell's 'The Greatest Living Englishman' they'd be
interested in selling for reasonable prices? Contact me off-list.

Hoping this is of some interest to the list...

Roger Klug (recommended here previously) pulled out a kick-ass,
surprise cover of "Complicated Game" at a party at his drummer's house
last night. A partial video clip can be seen here:

Here's a -very- shaky clip of the whole song:

Over, under, sideways, out!

Hi:

Over at the XTCfans MySpace site (http://www.myspace.com/xtcfans),
Andy answers questions about "Powers." The song of the week is the
first track from the album, originally titled "Earthlight," but
released simply as "Track 1."

If you want to know what the other "song" titles originally were, or
what the slowed-down voices in some of the tracks are actually saying,
check out the XTCfans blog site at http://blogs.myspace.com/xtcfans.

Bleep, bloop, blurp.
