Hello

I thought you and other XTC fans would be interested in the fantastic
website www.swindonviewpoint.com

I remember the TV channel from my youth as it appeared well before
cable or satellite TV. Swindon Viewpoint is Britainas original
community television service and as such has a unique history and
place in Britainas media story. Its aim has always been to document
the life and times of the Swindon area, to entertain, and to encourage
debate, dialogue and understanding. When on the website, put 'XTC'
into the search engine and find many earthly delights from the late
70s and early 80s, including Andy's view of Swindon and a song
performed by the Helium Kidz, amongst other things. This site is
truly a gem!

Kind regards
Kay Brown
Highworth (near Swindon)

A huge thanks to Stacy Carson <stacy@himby.biz> for unearthing and passing
along the link to the "XTC At The Manor" documentary.
It's a truly amazing find that underscores yet again the wonder that is/was
XTC. `Makes you want to go back to the beginning with them
and start all over again.

Every time I move I stumble across what's left of my vinyl--a couple
dozen XTC records and a handful of odd things that I can't get on
CD. I'm trying once again to sell off the last of the XTC
vinyl. Here's a craigslist posting:
http://cosprings.craigslist.org/emd/1903351037.html (I'm not about to
deal with the hassle of eBay, and I don't think there are a lot of XTC
fanatics in Colorado Springs). Let me know if you're interested in any
or all. I'll be happy to take photos if needed.

Dear all
I thought that i would contact you to let you know that you were
either played, mentioned, or may have an interest in the show
(Acoustic and Eclectic - Future radio, 107.8fm around Norfolk,Sundays
2-3pm.)
15th August show included XTC (Skylarking album of the week 2 weeks
running), Dominic Beehan, Nic Jones, Frank Turner, Chris TT, XTC,
Sufjan Stevens, Deanta, Jimmy Power Lucy Parr, and Andy Boyle, Cocos
Lovers, Sarah Mcquaid, XTC.
Also i chose Skylarking as my album of the week on the 8th August
show as well, so XTC fans may wish to listen to both shows.
However, please excuse the fact that i played the wrong song at the
end of show one, but made up for it by playing the correct song at
the start of week 2.
To listen again go to www.futureradio.co.uk/acousticandeclectic
Hope that you enjoy the show/shows if you get to hear it / them.
Richard.
