Hey John,

Did you try www.gohomeproductions.com   ?

Those samples on there are awesome, but I don't
remember a Nearly Africa rhythm being used. There is
an XTC mashup, as well as other well made mixes anyone
can spend an hour checking out. LOL

BTW, your Chalkhills list is cool, and you have been a
terrific host for these many years, thanks very much
and keep up the good work.

Some people have been asking about Dave and the Guitargonauts site.

The truth is that Dave hasn't been very well lately,  so the site has
taken a back seat. (He's a lot better now, and doesn't want any fuss
about it.)

Plus there have been a few communications difficulties: the usual stuff
about who was doing what and when.

Anyway, Dave's keen to bring it up to date so with luck there should be
some progress before long.

Meanwhile, I found an intriguing account of Andy meeting the mash-up

I've been following the comic strip "Over the Hedge" ever since May and June
2000 when creators Michael Fry and T. Lewis added references to "Black Sea"
(5/10/00) and "Wasp Star" (6/10/00) to the strip.  Today,  the creators
added a very slight XTC reference, which may have appeared in other stips
which I didn't pick up on.  In a vista from the forest looking into the
subburban landscape, the creators have included a billboard for "Antheap
Realty - Crawling with value" [little hard to read].

This link might get you there.  The date of today's strip is May 27.

1) Some of my north american friends have gone apeshit about Pseudo
    Echo's cover of "Funky Town".  How cool is that?

2) McCartney with Jason Falkner?  Peel me off the ceiling!  Gimme,
   gimme...

3) When you turn your stereo system up a bit louder (if you're allowed
   to) it sounds better.

4) Look out for Ben Gott's and my forthcoming CD.  It's called
   "playPEN" and it's coming to your ears soon!
