Steam-powered calliope and clapped-out organ.

Born in West Norwood, London, September 12, 1956.

Joined XTC in 1977. Left in 1979 to join Robert Fripp's The League Of Gentlemen. Released singles under his own name and under the name Restaurant For Dogs. Formed Shriekback in 1981. Released solo piano album, Haunted Box of Switches in 2002. Released beastly electronica album Stic Basin in 2003.
