Can someone tell me what's on BEESWAX? I want to know what a
late bloomer like myself is missing out on.

Can anyone list the correspondences between the tracks on ``Take Away''
and their mundane couterparts (that is, the XTC tracks used as their found-
ations)? Thanks.

Gary asks:
>Can someone tell me what's on BEESWAX?

_Beeswax: Some B-Sides 1977-1982_ includes:

    She's So Square
B-side to the _Science Friction_ single, first B-side
        on the _3D-EP_.

    Dance Band
        Second B-side on the _3D-EP_.

    Hang On to the Night
B-side of the _Statue of Liberty_ single.

    Heatwave
        B-side to _This is Pop?_.

    Instant Tunes
B-side to _Are You Receiving Me?_.

"She's So Square", "Dance Band", "Hang On to the
Night", "Heatwave", "Traffic Light Rock", and "Instant
Tunes" are all included as bonus tracks to the _White
        Music_ CD.

    Pulsing Pulsing
Second B-side on the _Making Plans for Nigel_ single.

    Don't Lose Your Temper
B-side to _Generals and Majors_, can also be found on the
        Canadian _5 Senses_ EP.

    Smokeless Zone
A-side to the second single in the _Generals and Majors_
doublepack gatefold, can also be found on the Canadian _5
        Senses_ EP.

    The Somnambulist
        B-side to "Smokeless Zone".

"Don't Lose Your Temper", "Smokeless Zone", and "The
Somnambulist" can also be found on the _Black Sea_ CD,
and on the Japanese _XTC Live and More_ compilation LP.

    Blame the Weather
    Tissue Tigers (The Arguers)
B-sides to the _Senses Working Overtime_ 7", 12", and
        CD-3 singles (okay, so it's not really a B-side on a CD),
they can supposedly also be found on a flexi included
with _Trouser Press_ magazine in 1982.

    Punch and Judy
First B-side to the _Ball and Chain_ singles.

Heaven is Paved With Broken Glass
I believe this is the only track on _Beeswax_ which can't
be found anywhere else. It's a remix of the second
B-side to the _Ball and Chain_ singles.

By culling through the Chalkhills archives, I can list some of the
correspondences:

    The Cairo: Homo Safari
The Forgotten Language of Light: Dance Band
    Another 1950: Pulsing Pulsing
New Broom: Making Plans for Nigel
    The Rotary: Helicopter

I'm too tired at the moment to put the LP on and try to figure it out.
Maybe Joe knows the answers (4/5 of the above: Thanks, Joe).
