Well, while taking a break from cleaning burnt CD's, I happened across
a new Jimi Hendrix tribute comp, 'If 6 Was 9'. On this rockin' disc
is mentioned that they can't mention XTC plays on it, and thanks are
given to Andy Partridge. Trouble is that I can't figure out whether
the Monks of Doom, Obsequious Cheesecake, David Dream, or another band
is the culprit. Argh. It's licensed from the Imaginary Records
people who brought you Ella Guru...

I just came across a new XTC CD titled:

Explode Together (The Dub Experiments 78-80)

In the UK it's on the Virgin label, catalogue number CDOVD308 (for the CD).
It's a compilation from three sources; the track listing being as follows:

Part I (Go+)
  Dance with me, Germany
  Beat the bible
  A dictionary of modern marriage
  Clap, clap, clap
  We kill the beast
Part II (Take Away)
  Commerciality
The day they pulled the North Pole down
  The forgotten language of light
  Steam fist futurist
  Shore leave ornithology (another 1950)
  Cairo
Part III (The Lure of Salvage)
  The Rotary
  Madhattan
  I sit in the snow
  Work away Tokyo
  New broom

The jewel box insert lists the XTC CDs which are available, including one
which is "coming soon":

	Rag 'N Bone Buffet

which is described as "B-sides, strange pseudonyms, flexi disc tracks, etc -
nearly 80 minutes of rarities". Catalogue number is CDOVD311.
